Review Policy

To Authors and Publishers:

• If you are interested, I will accept to read and review your YA book. Since this is a YA book blog, I usually review Young Adult literature. However, I will occasionally review MG books. I'm open to all genres, and I usually accept the types of books of the following: ARCs and books that are on shelves already (I have no preference on hardcover or paperback. I am fine with either one). I do NOT accept the following: audio books. I will sometimes accept of the following: self-published and e-books. However, I cannot guarantee to give you a positive review. This all depends on how much I like the book. If it deserves a negative review, it will get a negative review. If it deserves a positive review, it will get a positive review. If by some reason I cannot finish the book because I don’t like it, I will give a mini-review of the book highlighting the good and bad parts of the book. I also would gladly do an interview, a giveaway or contest, or even a guest blog post to promote your YA book on Delightful Reviews.
• When I read your review book, I cannot guarantee I will read the whole book. I give books a 60-page test. If I cannot enjoy the book within 60 pages, there is no connection for the book, so why bother reading it? However, I will do a mini­­-review for your book, highlighting its high and low points within the pages I read of the book.

• When I review an ARC, I always try to post the review around its release date. When it is a book released on shelves, it takes me from two weeks to three months to post the review. It all depends on my reading pile and how busy I am.
